Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant

I just love the menu here: lots of creative options that ought to please health nuts, comfort food & seafood lovers, as well as having some cool ideas and a seasonal menu. We had the nachos and the seafood Cobb salad (which I'm delighted to see) this time around at lunch and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Both dishes had the same issue: great presentation, lesser quality and execution. The (chicken) nachos were huge, but incredibly greasy and the chicken was unappetizing. While the salad looked great, they ought to have opted for grilled shrimp instead of cold packaged cocktail shrimps. The crab was so unremarkable that I'd have left it out and used better shrimp: it wasn't paired well in the Cobb, and it's flavor didn't jive. Great service, I'll still be back to try out some of the creative menu items.

I don’t know how this place has under 5 stars. I’ve been there twice now within 3 days of my 12 day stay. I’ve had the beef sliders with garlic fries, marghuerita pizza and 3 out of 4 flavors of mojitos. Perfect amount of alcohol too. Literally doesn’t disappoint. And flavored monitors aren’t ever really GOOD and these were SO SO good. I also didn’t know pizza could taste THAT amazing. The fries...oh my god. The sliders were perfect. The service is amazing. Staff is friendly.

Delicious food and good beer. The service was great and attentive, I felt taken care of. My only gripe is the price of many items seems ridiculous. A pretzel is over $10, and an order of fries is $6.50. Their burgers are really good.
